I'm relaxing in Chamonix Mont Blanc where I just finished my 5-day trek climbing the Mont Blanc. I spent 3 days getting in shape and getting used to the high altitude followed by 2 days climbing the mountain. We went from 2500 meters all the way to 4600 meters. It was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and of the town of Chamonix 3500 meters below. I've attached a few of pictures to give you an idea. Due to high winds, however, we came short of the summit by 200 meters as we decided to turn around, but it's ok. It would have been very

dangerous to go all the way to the top and my guide wanted to go back down alive and in one piece!
I'm going back to Geneva for 3 days before getting back to Montreal. My vacation is almost over :(
